Hello and happy September to you all!
School is in full swing and I’m seeing lovely Halloween decorations in happy yards now, but I’m still enjoying all the sun and outdoors I can get. So today I’m sharing layout about a hike we took as a family.
When you’re scrapping hiking photos you must use a hiking title!
And like with every good hike there is a lot of Exploring going on. I got my Explore word from the Travel Word Set 1.
With all of my pieces I used ink pads to dab color on to them.
For Hiking I used brown and black on Explore.
This Pine Cone Cluster turned out fantastic.
I was a bit worried the brown on the pine cone would rub off too dark in some places but I really like the way it turned out. As you can tell, I used green for the pine needles.
No nature layout is finished without one or two or more mushrooms and maybe a fairy too!
I used a wood veneer from the Mushrooms Set and then picked out this beauty from the Sitting Fairies set. I did the same with this piece for coloring as I did with the others. It just took a little more patience.
