I hope you’re having fun getting in some last minute summer fun.
As for my area, the snow will be here before I know it. So I’m hoping for a few more fun summer activities with my family before I hole up inside for the winter.
So, I’m doing my best to think summer fun and I created this layout of my son and husband at the pool having fun with each other.
It’s funny how these layouts shape up sometimes.
I planned to use some of the fun new pool/water chipboard in the store like; Life is Simple Just Add Water, but when I got everything laid out I ended up pulling out some different chipboard pieces.
So I grabbed this Dad & Me title.
While looking for other embellishments to add I decided the words Play and Together from the Celebrate Word Set were perfect for my layout.
I laid out the finishing touches for my layout by adding the Red Acrylic Hearts to my embellishment clusters. For this layout I used a sketch by JQCrafty.
Because the background of my layout was so busy, I left the chipboard plain so it would really stand out.
