Hi friends! Dana here today turning the volume up to 11 with this cassette tape scrapbook layout featuring rad chipboard designs painted bold colors. The cassette tapes in the photo are part of my growing collection and are all new purchases from current bands. Cassette tapes are a thing again and I’m enjoying the nostalgic memories from my childhood that come with them.
This piece from the Hand Signs set was perfect for this page! I colored the chipboard with paint markers. For the Rock On title of this page, which is part of the Rock Titles set, I used an iridescent blue ink to color the words.
I decided to embellish the entire right half of the page with chipboard embellishments. The cassette walkman is from the 80’s Music Set. I used paint markers and a white gel pen to add color to the chipboard.
I love a good shaker element! The Music Note Shaker was perfect for this layout. I covered the base of the music note with patterned paper and used a gray paint marker to color the top piece of the shaker. I filled the music note with glass glitter.
The cassette is also from the 80’s Music Set. I used paint markers and a white gel pen to add color to the chipboard.
