Hello and happy First Day of Spring to you all!!
I am very, extremely ready for spring.
But today I’m sharing a layout out I made with St. Patrick’s day in mind.
We don’t do a lot to celebrate the day so I don’t usually have photos to scrap for the actual holiday, but I thought these photos of my son playing with his baby brother worked beautifully with some St. Patty’s day themed papers and embellishments.
To start I laid my pictures out on my background and then put out the Creative Embellishments chipboard I wanted to add to the layout.
After that I added a few strips of patterned paper to give the layout a bit more color and then started adding color to my chipboard.
For my title, Lucky in Love, I used gold metallic chalk markers.
I used the gold metallic chalk marker on the key I attached to my journaling also and then red marker on the little hearts that came from the key.
Coloring this cute little gnome from the Gnomes 2 set, was a lot of fun. I used markers for him and on the word Adore, from the Family Word Border Set.
Here’s a closeup of the journaling pulled out with the key on it.
I finished up my layout with a flair button from the March flair set, it’s in the upper left corner and says March on it.
I hope you’re enjoying some sunny spring weather!
