Hello Creative Embellishments friends and fans!! Jenn here today sharing a colorful mixed media canvas project with you!
When I recently received the distressed clocks chippies I had a vision of this piece. I grabbed inks, stamps, stencils, pastes, and waxes and got messy!

The background was created on an 8X8 square canvas. Black texture paste was applied through a decorative stencil and dried. Next ink sprays in purples and sepia were sprayed and dried. Once dry the patina color spray was added as a highlight.
My chipboards were all altered using black gesso and waxes in bronze, patina green, and purple. Some molded pieces were also added to my piece followed by ink died bits of cheesecloth and lace. All of the elements were adhered at different levels using scraps of foamboard for more dimension.
To complete my piece I added a Tim Holtz paper doll and quote chip. So much fun! It was well worth the mess I made in the end.
