Hello!
I can’t believe it’s December already. Man, this year has felt extremely long and gone by too fast all at the same time. Funny how time is so relevant to the moment you’re in.
For this layout I jumped back in time a bit to enjoy a fleeting moment.
Most of us are very busy this time of year (and all year lol) so for this layout I wanted something quick and fun. I started with a sketch from sketch n scrap, a line from Simple Stories, these cute pics of my daughter and then dug into my stash of awesome chipboard!
When I ordered this presents border, I fully intended to use it as a border, but this is truly who I am. lol And I really wanted to have just a few presents in this corner and these were the perfect size. So I snipped them away from the rest of the border and added then here.
This mini holly was the perfect piece to set off my title and I added a bit of bling by putting dew drops in for the berries. On the other side of my title I used 2 candy canes from the small candy canes set, these are the medium sized ones. I crossed them into a heart like the awesome candy cane border.
I finished up my layout with this fantastic deer.
Of course she needed a bit of dew drop bling for her antlers too!
