With the holidays here it’s not always easy to find time to create! I was lucky to have some time this week to create a couple of layouts!
I prepped the Stamperia paper with gesso then mixed some texture paste with orange mica powder and used the Gear Stencil 2
I covered all the chipboard with texture paste. I used Gears in all sizes, distressed bricks, checker pieces, Steampunk Pipe Corner, Grunge Corner, and Punchinella Pieces I then started misting and painting with various mediums to achieve a rusty patina layered look
I wanted the title to stand out so I painted it as though it was freshly new against the rust of the other pieces
For my second layout I used 3 Quarter Designs prepped with clear gesso then used the Music to My Ears Stencil with texture paste
I wanted to keep the chipboard as dramatic as the photo so I kept the colors muted and coordinating with the paper. I used the Music Bar 7, Distressed Punchinella pieces, Distressed Punchinella, Music Frame and I added a bit of light brown ink to the music bar flair.
I heat embossed the title
