Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a repurposed project I created using a clipboard from my dollar store and amazing Creative Embellishments chipboards!
Holiday projects are truly some of my faves to create and when I saw these mdf chipboards at my local dollar store I grabbed them knowing I could use them! I removed the back stand and clip from the piece and covered it and my chippies in white gesso. Three or four layers of the gesso ensured my pieces were sealed and white.
The chipboards usd on this piece:
Icicle Borders
Holly and Berries – 3
Prancing Deer
Additional supplies used:
White Gesso
Frame
Tim Holtz Christmas Baseboards (sentiment)
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo
Burlap Poinsettias
Pine Pick
Crackle Paste
Pearlizing medium
Fine Ice Glitter
Red Sequins
Gold MicroBeads
Gold Wax
Gold and Maroon Ink Sprays
Once my gesso was dry I added the crackle paste and a bit of stamping with a script stamp. The icicle chippies were trimmed and placed on the back. Once the crackle was completely dry I assembled all of my embellishments to the front and adhered them. To finish it I added color using inks and sprays and drying in between.
Thanks so much for visiting and viewing my project today!
Happy Holidays!
~Jenn
