Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a winter themed layout.
Layouts are not usually something I do but when I received these beautiful Winter themed chipboards from Creative Embellishments an idea popped in my head and a layout was the best way to showcase it.I grabbed some decorative papers from my stash, paints, and flowers and began altering my chipboards.
Icicle Borders
Snowflakes Set 3
Additional supplies
Paper
Flowers
Berry Stems
Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers
Distress Ink Black Soot
Black Archival Ink
Christmas themed Stamp
Glitter
Sticky Embossing Powder
White Acrylic Paint
Frost Blue Acrylic Paint
Red Acrylic Paint
Embossing Ink
Glitter Paste
To alter my chipboard pieces, I used a frosty blue paint on the snowflakes and allowed it to dry. Once dry, I added embossing ink and sticky embossing powder. They were then sprinkled in glitter. The Icicles were painted in white acrylic and coated in glitter paste.
The paper was prepped with clear gesso and dried. Next splatters of the frosty blue paint and a red paint were added followed by some stamping.
Flowers, photo, chipboards, and berry stems were added. To finish it off some sprinkles of glitter were added to the flowers. The sentiment stickers were edged in Black Soot Distress Ink and added.
This was a fun project!
Hope you like it!
