Hello crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I have a pretty little layout to share featuring a very simple altering technique for the beautiful chipboard. Here are all of the details.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Gorgeous Small Border Word Set
Berry Frame 3
Other Products Used:
Cardstock- White, Kraft
Prima- Patterned Paper, Gems, Flowers
Burlap Ribbon
DecoArt Paint- White
Paper Distress Tool
Cheesecloth
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Ultra, Adhesive Dots Medium, 3D Foam Squares, Dual Tip Glue Pen
I created a simple layered background using cardstock with distressed edges. I cut apart the wood patterned paper, tore the ends and distressed the edges. I added the wood pieces to the layout using foam tape.
This layout features chipboard pieces that I used very easy paint techniques to alter. I added white paint to the border ends of the title word. Using a dry brush technique to brush the edges of the Berry Frame.
Once I added a few more patterned paper layers and the burlap ribbon, I adhered the Berry Frame to the layout. Mat the photo in white and kraft cardstock and adhere to the layout using foam tape.
Add the title to the bottom right hand corner of the layout using liquid adhesive.
The final touch is to add flowers, cheesecloth and gems around the matted photo.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
