Here is another quick tag made grunge style. I love just throwing paints and mediums in a project. Mixing and matching to see what the layers will do.
Using the large tag I painted the edges to get a finished look to the tag. I then cut the paper slightly smaller than the tag itself and distressed the edges.
The background colours were fairly bold and bright. I started with just a quick layer of clear gesso
I started on the background with the typewriter stencil and some crackle paint. I covered most of the background with it. Once dry I stamped right over the texture with the Distress Grid Stamp. A little spray to lighten the boldness of the paper and two grunge it up.
I then pulled out the distress grid chipboard and the washi tape and added the past and spray to each of them. I set them aside to dry while I dug out some flowers, ribbon and metal pieces.
I layered a few of the items, added some more crackle paint direct on the flowers and pulled out some waxes to highlight the ribbon and edges of the tag. I hope you enjoy the tag. A little antique paper on the back of the tag and some seam binding and we are done.
Thank you for stopping, enjoy this quick and easy tag! Happy Crafting
