Angela here today to share a layout I made of my family on a camping trip.
I’ve been thinking a lot about everything I want to squeeze in before school starts up again and camping is usually near the top of the list. Luckily we got one more trip in this past weekend.
For this layout I dug through my stash of Creative Embellishment goodness and pulled out everything camping related. I ended up picking out this gorgeous fairy on a stump. She’s from the Sitting Fairies set.
My fairy needed some cute little mushrooms to surround her stump, so I added a couple from the Mushrooms set, they are wood veneer.
My title I pulled from the Journey Word set. There are some really good travel word sets in the store. I definitely need more of these sets. I combined my title with some stickers and then added the fun butterfly flair I had from the March flair set.
Last I added this gorgeous dragonfly from the Bugs set. I just love the detail work on his wings!
You’ll notice that I did add anything to my wood veneer or chipboard pieces for this layout, because I didn’t need to. They were the perfect focus of each cluster of embellishments, to let the eye rest on before moving over the busy patterned background.
