Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing my vintage vignette project with you.
For this project I have used the following Creative Embellishments chipboards:
This project began as a small wooden box from my stash. On the inside I placed a piece of collage paper using collage medium. Once it was dry, I coated it with clear crackle and let that dry. I then added some color with ink sprays. The inside framework was painted in a patina paint and sprayed in gold mica mist.
The outer frame was coated in white crackle, allowed to dry and coated a second time for extra crackle! Next color was added using patina paint, gold alcohol ink, and white gesso.
The pearls were colored using alcohol inks and placed in the box using collage medium. ***Tip** Do a few at a time and let them dry before adding more. This ensures they stay in place. A small glass jar was coated in collage medium to give a matte effect and when it was dry I added some patina wax and gold wax. A piece of jute string was tied around the top.
My chipboard leaves were embossed in gold and then another layer of gold was added using alcohol ink. The doily border was cut in half and placed on the top corner of my box and painted in the same way as the box itself.
A frame and portrait from my Tim Holtz stash was added using scrap cardboard to lift it from the base. The frame was colored in alcohol ink and patina wax. A small arrangement of flowers were combined with my altered chipboard leaves and tucked in the small bottle using E6000 glue.
A finnial and foot were added from my stash. To finish it off I added a little heart locket charm and sentiment.

Happy crafting!
