Hey there everyone!
Happy July to you all. I can’t believe how fast this year is going. It feels like we’re going to be headed back to school in no time and we’ve yet to go camping this summer.
For this layout I started with the Star Envy stencil for my background. I used small ink pads to press the ink onto the layout. Then I layered my papers according to a sketch designed by Rebecca Moore. At that point I had already picked my photo and was working on a title.
The Determination word set was perfect for helping me create my title. I used my metallic chalk markers to cover them in white and then used a small black pen to give the edges a bit more to help them stand out against my background papers.
After that I created my clusters of stickers, stars (from the Nested stars set) and soccer balls. I chose to put my journaling on strips, to add to the side of my photo.
I finished my layout off by adding the mirror acrylic silver star pieces.
They were the perfect finishing touch for my layout.
