Hello Creatives! Jenn here today sharing another fun mixed media project. Today I have created a pretty star shaped canvas using gorgeous wings and leaves from Creative Embellishments. These were altered with embossing powder and combined with stamping, ink sprays, florals, and imagery from Tim Holtz.

First I cut two stars from heavy weight chipboard blanks and adhered them together to make the star more stable. Next it was coated in two coats of white gesso.

Next I added crackle paste through a stencil and allowed it to dry and crack. Once it was dry, I added sprays and magicals alternating between colors and drying with a heat tool in between colors.

The chipboards were altered using embossing powders. The wings were coated in white gesso followed by an iridescent embossing powder. The leaves were also coed in white gesso and then white embossing powder. Once everything was dry some random stamping was done in black ink. Finally the piece was finished with the composition of chipboards, flowers, and image. Crystals were added as well as glitter, art stones and a sentiment chip.
