Hello Creative Embellishments friends and fans! Jenn here today sharing a fun mixed media project! I have used a variety of chippies to create this magical moon panel and combined them with lots of embellishing!
To create my panel background, I first coated the moon in heavy white gesso and dried. Next I used a stencil with white crackle paste to create the crackled lines. Once the crackle dries, I added color with acrylics.
**Note** The two colors shown are not the only ones used. I have also used a navy acrylic as well as some teal and blue inks.
Once the background was dry and my chippies were altered I built my composition. The bulb portion required a wire apperture behind that is shaped with the chipboard. This is ensured stability.
Lots of glitter paste, micro pearls, and iridescent glass spheres added for sparkle!!
