Hello there my crafty friend, welcome back to the Creative Embellishments Blog! Today I am sharing my latest creation. I decided I wanted to create things that you wouldn’t normally see this time of the year. Sometimes you just have to create with your feelings not with what’s popular. Have you ever felt that way? Anywho, I’d love to go on an adventure with you! Why don’t we take a trip to the Amazon!! You, me, and Creative Embellishments equal a good time! What do you say? Let’s get our goodies and have a play!
**Let’s get our adventure on!**

1. Begin by adhering down your rice paper to your Palm Leaf
Hint: Release the excess paper by using a paintbrush and water along the edges
2. While that dries, alter your Palm Cluster Set using acrylic paint then distress the edges
3. Now distress the palm leaf edges using the same black paint/ink
4. Get some leaf castings and alter those using black paint and wax
5. Before we begin composition building, splatter the surface with some water down black paint
6. Find your focal image and cut it out
7. Begin the layering by adding one piece at a time
Hint: I started with my chipboard pieces, placed my focal point for eyeballing, and went from there
8. Place your focal image and pop it up using some cardboard
Hint: I clear gesso’d my focal image to make it more sturdy and permanent
9. Find some quotes and ribbon to compliment your composition and randomly place them
10. The final touch is to add some flat back pebbles to compliment the pink flowers

**Here are some close-ups for you to enjoy!**
**Thank you for stopping by the blog today! See you next time.**
