Hi everyone! Debbie Burns here today sharing a decorative 6″ frame. Love the variety of frames in the store. With the decorative frames you can choose from 6″ or the smaller 2″ ones.
I’m a big fan of treating my chipboard with embossing powders, but challenged myself to use inks and paints for this project. Love the finished look of the treated chipboard. I used papers from Stamperia’s Calligraphy collection along with some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks, Distressed Paints and Distressed Spray Stains.
I applied some Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap and Iced Spruce Distressed Oxide Inks to the frame. Once the inks dried I dabbed on some Walnut Stain Distressed Paint and added some stamping using the Distressed Crackle Stamp.
Beneath the layering I used the smaller piece from Flourish Set 4. I applied some Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink and added some stamping with the Distressed Crackle Stamp.
Under all of the layering is a piece from Ripped Notebook Paper, stamped with Old Paper Distress Oxide Ink and stamped with the Distressed Script Stamp. To the right I used 2 pieces from the Ink and Quill set. I applied Black Soot and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Inks to the bottle and Iced Spruce Distress to the quill. Under the stack of letters is a piece from Door Knockers, treated with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and dabbed with Rusty Hinge Distressed Paint.
The key is from the Keys set. I used the same technique on the key as the piece from Door Knockers. to finish off my project I added some flowers and lace.
Thanks for stopping by!
. . . Debbie
