Hello, all my fellow CE friends! Welcome back to the blog and thanks for joining me today. I’m in a funky kinda mood this time. I wanted to play with bright colors and simplicity. I had fun using these colors, I must admit. These colors just make me happy. It’s not just me, is it?! You know me, I have to keep true to my style and make it grungy.
This piece may look fairly simple but there is so much more to it than meets the eye. I used the Harlequin Circle Frame to make this piece really unique. I used liquid acrylic paints to alter the resin pieces and grunged them up using waxes. You know me, I love my splatters and of course I had to add some metal gears too. For finishing touches, I dry brushed some black gesso on the higher surfaces. Then the bulb and clear pebbles to which I painted with metallic acrylic paint.
