Hello! Nadine here today with a country-style sunflower shaker card.
To create my card, I started with a 6×6 kraft cardbase and then adhered some yellow patterned paper over it. With some white Gesso, I dry brushed some onto the patterned paper just in the center of it. I didn’t want to cover all of the paper. Next, I adhered a square piece of burlap and fringed the edges of it.
Then using the Flower Shaker Set, I sprayed all the chipboard pieces of it with some Walnut Ink to give it the rich dark brown color. Then I traced the entire flower piece on a gold piece of Rinea Foiled Paper and cut it out. Then I traced the inside of the flower petal closest to the center onto another piece of the patterned paper I used on the background. Then I adhered the 2 pieces together making sure they lined up correctly with the flower chipboard piece and adhered them down to the center of the burlap on my card front. Next, I adhered the flower chipboard piece to the other pieces I cut out.
Then taking the 2 circle pieces that come with the Flower Shaker Set, I adhered them together and to the center of the flower piece. Added some shaker elements into the center and then adhered down the plastic circle piece to the top. Then I adhered some twine around the outside edge of the circle shaker area. Then stamped a birthday sentiment in the bottom corner.
Thank you so much for visiting, see you next time!
