Time to shake up Christmas with some shaker card featuring Creative Embellishments unique original chipboard shaker sets. I’m Jennifer Snyder and I’d like to share me projects with you.
The cards today feature a shaker set that I adore – the Whimsical Deer Shaker and the perfect seasonal shaker set, the Mitten Shaker.
The mitten shaker card was made using Maja Design paper, Glimmer Hot Foil plates by Spellbinders, and is filled with festive shaker mix from Buttons Galore and More.
I kept the shaker treatments super easy by painting with acrylics and dabbing with gold paint.
The Whimsical Deer Shaker set was inked with Walnut Stain Distress ink. I added the Santa hat after it was dry (purchased from a big craft store). The shaker was filled with mix from Buttons Galore and More. It was finished with a 3D holly button also from Creative Embellishments.
The chipboard tree border from Creative Embellishments was fun to make.
The textured treatment on the Tree Border was easy to make and looks spectacular. First I mixed paint with heavy gesso. Then I added the mixture to the chipboard with a palette knife.
Once the gesso paint mixture is dry, I inked the edges for more dramatic dimension.
