Merry Christmas everyone…
I’m here today to share with you a few Christmas cards I created using some of the fun holiday chipboard sets from the Creative Embellishments store.. all three of my cards measure 5.5″ x 4.25″
Here is what I created:
These were so much fun to make, plus I was able to create them fairly quick.. I used some of my favorite Xmas papers by Simple Stories and then colored my chipboard elements using white gesso, white paint and Distress Oxides by Ranger.. For some effect, I added texture paste, white glitter and then Nuvo drops in red, yellow and in white..
Love this card.. I painted the chippies to match the paper set and then staggered them onto the card, using foam tape for the white one in the middle.. white glitter on the snow flake and then nuvo drops for accent..
I added texture paste to look like snow, painted it white once it was dry, added a few punched snow flakes to the background of the card and then some white Nuvo drops..
This was a lot of fun to make using the white Nuvo drops to add the wax texture to the candles and then the berries using red Nuvo drops.. I left the sentiment as is since I like how it stood out from the background paper..
and there you have my card set for todays post.. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my project and this will be my last project for this year.. Till next time.
Hugs
Nanné
