I am going to start sharing some holiday cards seeing the Thanksgiving holiday has passed. These are some cards I made a number of years ago and decided to revive them. I have the directions and sizes all written out below but these fun flip up cards are easy and elegant all in one.

I secured the top fold with seam binding and a pretty bow.

I started with a base colour that matches my papers. Using 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch paper I cut the at 4 1/2 inches the long ways. You can see it all in the video. Lots of cutting but it goes pretty fast.

Using a score board I score horizontally at 6 inches and then I get out my diagonal board and score the square on the top portion of the card at 3 3/4″ and 8 1/4″. And then flip over and repeat it again.  The video shows it all and the nice thing is you can pause where you need to.

I cut matching inserts for all of the cards, 2 each of the large inserts one each front and back of the card. (8 in total) and 16 3×3″ squares. I cut 1/2 the squares diagonally in half for the small triangles. Trust me it will all make sense.

I used the small tags from the Tag set 1 and Tag set 3 and add the top layer and twine. I fill in the clusters with the tags and flowers.

I use the Holly Leaves Set of 15 and add glitter glue to each of them. I set aside and air dry and move on to the Intricate Ornaments. I add gloss get and sprinkle with a powder glitter to add the bling.

Here are some  more close-ups.

I hope your inspired to be creative! Thanks you for stopping by today!
