Hello holiday crafting loving friends! Tracy here and today I have a festive little project to share. I like to occasionally get a little mixed media messy, so here are all of the details.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Other Products Used:
DecoArt- Modelling Paste
Acrylic Paint- White
Media Acrylic- Gold
Texture Tool
Gems
Prima Flowers
Art Glitter- Gala Glitz
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Dual Tip Glue Pen, Adhesive Dots Medium, Adhesive Dots Small, 3D Foam Squares
I began by covering the deer with modelling paste using a texture tool. Let dry completely. Then I painted the whole piece and the branches with white paint. Using a bristled brush, I dry brushed gold paint around the edges of both pieces. I added gems to the berries of the branches.
Using foam squares and adhesive dots I added the flowers to the piece. I cut the branches into smaller pieces and added them around the flowers using adhesive dots.
I took a liquid adhesive and added chunky glitter to the ears and antlers, as if it were snow. Once completely dry, I went over these areas just slightly using white paint.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
