Hello crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I have a fun little travel inspired layout to share. I know these days, most people aren’t traveling far. So what better time, than to catch up on trips past in your scrapbooks. Here are all of the details.

Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:

Old World Map 12″                 Travel Word Set

Other Products Used:

Vicki Boutin- Let’s Wander Collection (patterned paper, chipboard stickers, ephemera)
Burlap String
Embossing Pad
Stampendous Embossing Powder- Aged Ivory
Cardstock- White, Kraft
Paper Distresser
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Crafty Foam Tape, Adhesive Dots Micro, Adhesive Dots Medium, E-Z Runner Ultra

For the title “Explore” word, I took it easy on you, i didn’t treat it at all, I wanted to pick up that kraft colour. I covered the entire Old World Map using Aged Ivory embossing powder. Then I traced the chipboard piece onto the blue wavy patterned paper. Cut that out and adhere that in behind the chipboard.

Cut a wide strip of the light blue patterned paper and tear both ends. Adhere to the left hand side of the layout. Add a strip of the rainbow striped patterned paper to the top and bottom of the layout. Cut a strip of the green patterned paper that is 1×9 and adhere on top of the blue patterned strip.
Add the Old World Map to the middle of the layout. Add the chipboard title just above it.

Mat the photo in white and kraft cardstock and adhere on top of the Old World Map. I then added coordinating embellishments around the matted photo.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
