Hello my scrappy friends.  I’m back today with a layout to switch up from the album, which I will continue next week.  This layout features a photo of 3 dear special ladies from left to right: My Mom, Leta, My Aunt Ruthie and My Aunt Georgiana.  Aunt Georgiana is the only one who is still living and she is the youngest of 5 sisters.  I’m not sure when the photo was taken, but it must have been at least 25 years ago.  My Mom looks really good in the photo, as she is really skinny (she was always fighting her weight problem).  Aunt Georgie is sitting sideways on the chair so she looks heavier that she is in that pictures.  To me they all look like 3 gorgeous, beautiful, strong, and smart women.

 

I used the new paper collection “Glory of the Garden” from Blue Fern Studios for my background paper.  It has a lovely fountain on the left side of the page which I embellished with rhinestones to emulate water droplets or spray coming off the fountain.  I know I probably over overdid using them, but I really like the affect!!!

The layout is centered around the beautiful Royal Frame Square Set .  This is the smallest frame of the 2 in the set which is about 6″.  I painted in with a gold acrylic paint.  It is makes such a beautiful statement, I know that I will be using it for many of my layouts in the future.

At the bottom left is a pretty little flower cluster.
