Hey there CE Scrappy Fans!!!  Today I am continuing our journey featuring the mini-album we started a few weeks ago.  The album is based on Stamperia’s underwater, fantasy, Steampunk world where we have created an album for my oldest grandson to put his pictures (school, scouting, sports, etc., by grade).  We are up to the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and are missing some of the photos.  His Mom has them, and I have put in the request, still waiting….hope you enjoy.

Pages 4 and 5 are the center of the album and form a large compass when the large tags are removed.

Here’s page 4

At the bottom of each of the pages on the far pockets I used these very cool chipboard pieces from the  Octopus Set which are various octopi legs in different positions, shapes, sizes.  I painted them in 2 different acrylic paint colors and then stacked them.  I think they look really creepy.  Left side –

Right side –

Once you open up the pages on the left side you will discover some chipboard like gears which I painted a bright brass color.

Page 5 is identical in design to page 4, but is different in embellishment and photo placement.  Under the tags on the first flaps I added some of the  Coral Set which comes in a set of 4 pieces.  To the right  I used some of the Tropical Fish

Behind those flaps and on the flap to the right I modified the Steampunk Seahorse by adding some additional gears and a piece from the Loose Parts Set .  I think it looks like a robot.  It really didn’t need any modification, but was having too much fun with the album making.

Here is page 6.  Love how the page is put together with the magnets and chipboard.

The rest of the photos are of page 6 and Chase in the 5th grade.  This year 2020 he will be home schooled due to the Corona Virus, but we plan on taking lots of pictures any way.

Here’s the Steampunk Starfish all dressed up in silver and coral acrylic paint.

On the right side flap I used the Jellyfish Set 1 and painted it the same colors as the starfish, and added the blue on the tips.

On the inside of the flap is the diver’s helmet with black cardstock as placeholder’s for photos.

We only have 2 pages left of the album.  I won’t have any pictures for the pages as Chase is in the 6th grade this year.  I hope you will stop back for more inspiration on how to use chipboard in your mini-albums, especially if you are the using the “Seaworld” paper collection from Stamperia.  Creative Embellishments has so many wonderful chipboard pieces that work wonderfully with that collection.

I made my album by following the tutorial provided by Scrap and Create You Tube Tutorial.

Daphne does an amazing job.  Hope you stop back soon to see the many creations from our Uber talented Design Team here at Creative Embellishments.  Until then please stay safe.
