Hello crafty friends! Today I have a sweet and simple little card to share.
These days, while so many of us are staying home….why not send a little more mail. I have been sending more cards just to bring a smile to the people I care about. Here are the details about this simple little card. You Make Me Happy.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Arched Window Set 3 Flourish Butterfly Set 5
Other Products Used:
Embossing Pad
Ranger Embossing Powder- White, Black
Carta Bella Flower market Collection- patterned paper, cardstock stickers, die cuts
Cardstock- Black, White
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Dual Tip Glue Pen, Thin 3D Foam Squares, 3D Foam Squares, E-Z Runner Petite, Adhesive Dots Micro
I started by covering the small window with white embossing powder. I wanted to give the window a little bit of an aged look, so I tapped off a little more of the powder than I normally would. Next I covered the butterfly using 2 coats of black embossing powder, this gives it a hight gloss enamelled look.
I cut a piece of patterned paper to fit in behind the window piece. I chose a pattern that could look like an old fashioned curtain. Adhere in back of the window using liquid adhesive.
I created a simple layered background for the card using patterned papers and black cardstock. I added the die cut, small border strip up the side and the cardstock sticker using 3D foam for a little extra dimension. Add the window to the top right hand corner, and then the butterfly overlapping onto it using adhesive dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
