The Easter Bunny is hopped down my bunny trail went into quarantine and is just about spent his 14 days and will be ready to deliver all that candy and eggs on Easter Sunday!!! Lol. Hope this messages finds you all safe and healthy!!! I have a fun layout with a pick that was taken in 1977 of me, the hubby and both the kids. Patrick is just a month old (he was a 10 lb baby at birth). So that makes this picture 43 years old. Jennifer is 18 months old. What fond memories of our first Easter Sunday.
I started by using the Anna Griffin Spring Plaid Cardstock that has foil running through it. Love this paper. On top I fussy cut Mintay’s “Bloomfield” collection. What fun!!!! At the bottom of the page I ripped some of the Rinea gold foil paper. Then I heat embossed the Grass Set chipboard with Stampendous Tinsel Powder which really sparkles in a lime green that is perfect for this layout. I wished you could see the sparkle and shine!!!
You can see the star of the show hopping through the grass chasing the butterfly, good ‘ole Mr. Easter Bunny. Here he is done up with white gesso, then edges inked with a dark gray, and features created with different pens, etc. The chipboard is the Bunnies which comes in a set of 3. I love this one of him hopping.
Right next to him is the title of the layout is….wait for it….wait for it…yep Egg Word Set no, that can’t be right it’s Easter Bunny. If you are looking for the Title “Easter Bunny” you have to type in “Egg” to get the Egg Word Set that contains the Easter Bunny Title.
Moving around the page are some very pretty Easter reproduction printed embellishments from Anna Griffin that I just had to use. They are so precious and perfect for this layout. Check out the large eggs at the top of the bouquet pictured here and the sweet chicks in their basket at the bottom.
And finally, the fussy cutting across the top and sides of the layout add just the right touch to bring the eye to the center of the page and the feature which is the photo of the Mosher family’s first Easter together. I layered an antique Battenberg lace doily with an Anna Griffin Plaid Cardstock and then the stunning Ribbon Frame which is one of 2 frames. These are relatively new in the store and have quickly become 2 of my faves. I used the Blue Fern Studios “Pretty in Pink” embossing powder which has a little bit of sparkle to it.
I know there is a lot going on in this layout, but I love that style. Sometimes I just can’t help myself. Happy Easter everyone, stay home, stay safe, and enjoy the company of your loved ones this Easter Sunday.
