Happy Spring! I was so inspired by so many things in this months mood board: the colors, mason jars, lights and Easter bunny. I used the Mason Jar Banner at the top of my layout. I colored the jars with acrylic paint. I colored the lights with yellow acrylic paint and then rubbed some gold over the top. I also added the gold paint to the lids. For my title, I used the Happy Easter and did an ombre effect using acrylic paint. Around my photo, I tucked in an ombre Easter Basket, Fun Eggs and some wood veneer Bunnies all painted with acrylic paint. You can see close ups and how I created this layout on my blog HERE. I am looking forward to seeing your take on the mood board!

Hello, CE fans! I hope it is a pretty Spring Day where you live! I was definitely inspired by the color palette of the Challenge image as well as the overall whimsical Spring vibe. Creating this was both fun but somewhat challenging in light of the current global news. Finally I settled into my happy place, went totally artsy and used tons of CE product for this fabulous stock photo. My chipboard pieces are: BirdhousesChinese Lantern Set 2Berry Frame 4BannersTypewriter KeysGrass Set as well as the wood veneer Bumblebees and the new Art Stencil.  The “twist”  is to use metal and I cheated a bit. The model’s floral skirt is built on a metal frame! Hope that counts! Papers and medium are all 13 Arts. For more details, please visit my Blog. Can’t wait to see your take on this month’s Challenge!

Hi everyone.. Here is my take on this months challenge.. I absolutely love Spring with all of the amazing colors it brings and for my layout, I used lots of fun Spring themed chippies, like bee’s and butterflies for example..  I also added a beautiful flourish, fun leaves and an upside down umbrella.. The photos are of my grand daughter who got to play outside in the spring sun last year which went perfect with the older paper stack I had in stash by Echo Park.

Hello, there all my fellow CE fans! I hope you all are well. I am super inspired by this month’s springy feels and Easter mood board. Hunting easter eggs are among our favorite Easter memories. We’ve shared lots of surprises and laughs in finding them in such odd places. Do you have any favorite Easter memories? I am sharing with you today an Easter inspired 12×12 layout using lots of CE chipboard pieces and a shaker.

I began by altering the Bunny Shaker the Easter Frame and acrylic molds by painting them with bright green acrylic paint. Next, I altered the Happy Easter Eggs title quote by embossing them to match the pink throughout the layout and distressed the edges with wax. For the twist this month, I added some metal leaves and too altered those with the same acrylic paint as I had used on the other elements throughout the layout. The picture is of my ‘lil man from a few years ago. If you’d like to know more about how I created this layout, you can visit my blog for a step by step process. Hoppy early Easter everyone! We hope you are as inspired as we are by the mood board this month and look forward to seeing your takes on the April theme.

Spring is here and I am so glad that the days are longer and everything is blooming.  It’s my favorite time of the year so I created a celebratory tag using a Large Tag, a Spring word chippy,  and a Flourish Corner 4 that I placed underneath the flowers. I used the Raindrop Stencil to stencil on some fun raindrops and a puddle on the background.   Stop by blog to see all the details of how this tag came together.

Hello everyone, I hopeful is safe and healthy. I would love to share a cards set I made for my friends little girl, She will be turning one during all of this. I new when Kendall was born I will be spoiling her with homemade gifts and cards. This is one idea I had brewing for awhile. I started with using the April’s Mood Board as inspiration. I picked the paper colour and got right to it. I used the new Art Stencil from the store as the background texture. I love to paint Nicolle’s Chipboard, they take paint great and you can get detailed, which I love. I painted the Number 1 Shaker and the Cupcakes with some matching paint before assembling. I added some metal sentiments to each of the cards after assembling. I added some more glitter just for the princess who is turning one this coming up May. I made a short video of the process.

Hi everyone and welcome to our April Challenge!  We have a beautiful spring inspired mood board this month, and of course the twist, add metal to your project.  I was inspired by the flowers and the heart shape back of the chair.  I created a shabby chic vintage tag using papers from Ciao Bella’s The Muse collection.

I covered my tag with papers and inked the edges with some Tim Holtz Vintage Paper Distress Ink.  From there I built up layers with papers and chipboard.  On the base of my tag I used the Viney Flourish Frame, which I covered with some green paint and bronze wax.  I then added some dabs of pink paint and topped the chipboard piece off with some stamping using the Distressed Script Stamp and added various colors of micro beads.  I used two pieces from Curly Hearts.  Both pieces were embossed with a mixture of light pink and brown embossing powders.  Next I added flowers, lace and more micro beads.   For the twist, I added a couple of metals brads along with two decorative metal pieces.

Can’t wait to see what you create this month!

Jennifer Snyder here with a touch of Spring and Easter love.  I am showcasing some new CE designs
for the April Challenge.   First up is the adorable Bunny Bottom Shaker set that is sure to make someone smile.
Next card uses Creative Embellishments “Love Sentiments” chipboard piece.
Both cards are accented with sequin shaker mix from Buttons Galore to help make the shaker card hop to life.
The challenge twist for April was to use some metal so I added some 3D  metallic buttons.
I just loves this April Challenge. With all going on in the world, I just wanted to create something pretty.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Arched Window Set         Bloom Where You Are Planted           Branches Set
I’ll start by saying I had the “Bloom” leftover from a previous project. I covered all of the chipboard pieces using white acrylic paint. Once dry I added pink Prills to the blooms on the branches using a liquid adhesive.
Then I masked the bottom half of “Bloom”, and splattered the top portion with 2 misters, gold and pink. Let dry.
I fudged the twist a little bit, by adding metallic papers to my layout.
