Ahhhhh to be in love!!! February just reeks of Valentine’s, young love, hearts, candy, flowers, and did I say candy???? I always get the biggest heart-shaped box of chocolates the store has on hand. My hubby is so good to me!!! Today’s layout features my oldest, my daughter Jennifer with her hubby, Tim right after they announced their engagement. Tim has a lazy eye, so he always looks like he has been sipping the punch lol!!! This photo was taken about 11 years ago. Time sure flies!
I used Mintay’s “Old Manor” paper collection and “Cozy Evening” for the background paper. I did a ton of fussy cutting the whole collage of flowers, fountains, leaves, lanterns, etc. and adhered them along the edges of the layout, and popped in the Steampunk Clock which I heat embossed in a rich “Enchanted Evening” gold embossing powder by Nuvo.
In the middle of the layout behind the photo I went crazy with all the layering of odds and ends and 2 chipboard pieces called the Chained to You Heart Frames These pieces remind me of the Tiffany’s necklace (which can be customized into personalized name necklace )and bracelet that I have been wanting for years, the plain sterling silver chain with the heart charm at the end, very classy. I saw a flight attendant wearing them on a flight between LA and Anchorage one time and have never forgotten them. Anyway I heat embossed this chipboard in the “Enchanted Evening” gold powder by Nuvo to match the clock. Turned out pretty good I think.
