Jennifer Snyder getting ready for Valentines Day by making a shaker home decor piece to hang on my wall. To be truthful, I was going to gift this to my friend, but I can’t part with it. Is that bad? Don’t judge me…haaaaaaaa. We all fall in love with some pieces and can’t part with them.
I combined the “Love Makes the World Go Round” chipboard wreath and veneer Conversation Hearts from Creative Embellishments to decorate my piece. The wreath with cream acrylic paint and topped with Crackle Accents.

Taking a step back, here is the original wooden wall hanging I grabbed from Hobby Lobby. It started off good but I knew I could make it better by gussying with chipboard and cheery shaker mix.
Every fun shaker needs cool fabulous shaker mix. I used mix from Buttons Galore and More to bedazzle my wall hanging.
The Creative Embellishments – Wood Veneer Conversation Hearts are great accents on decor, cards, scrapbook pages and mixed media projects. If you flip them around to the blank side, they can be used year round and popped on anything. They paint and ink up very nicely.
Mine were lightly inked on the edges with pink ink.
