Where has the year gone, my goodness before we know it Christmas will be here. So lets not rush it and lets get on with the November Challenge. Another project made on the girls weekend, so another short video to go along with it.

CE November Challenge 3CE November Challenge 10

I started with the picking the paper, and I love this paper so much that I actually made two large tags, I did a little background work with the snowflake stencil and paste, before figuring out the focal points with the Autumn Frames Sets and Autumn ATC’s, then it was a matter of adding the twist of adding wood to the flower clusters. I added the Happy Thanksgiving Title to each of the tags. Then I just finished off the tags with a few subtle details of flat back pearls and micro beads.

Here is the short video followed by some close-ups of each of the tags.

I was inspired by the photo in the upper left of the mood board and the browns. I used the acorn frame from the Autumn Frame Set.  I added the “paradise” chipboard piece from—— and placed it on top of the frame. I added the word “Grateful” from the Autumn Sentiments pack. I also added a Heart. For my wood, I added the Acorns wood veneer and a few cut leaves from the Fall Leaves wood veneer. I colored all the pieces with Lindy’s mists. I am looking forward to seeing your projects!

This has seriously been a crazy fast year! But regardless, this month’s Challenge is enough to get you thinking all things cozy, autumn-y and “wrapped in a blanket” warm. What better way to acknowledge the change of the seasons than with the adorable Leaf Shaker. I altered it with background paper and then some walnut ink. Of course, I also “had” to add some leaves which I grabbed from the Branch and Leaves set. For a finishing touch, I added a title from the Autumn Word Set. This was a fun and quick way to use up some REALLY old papers from Basic Gray and Websters Pages. Can’t wait to see how you interpret the challenge! Details and close-ups are on my blog: HERE

Debbie Burns

Hi everyone!  Debbie Burns here with my take on the November Challenge.  Love the mood board this month!  So many elements and textures.  I was inspired by the colors, pumpkins and leaves.  For the twist, add wood, I used a couple of wooden leaves from my stash.  Autumn is a little late here in Maryland.  The leaves are just now turning color and the temperatures have been up and down.  I used several pieces of chipboard,  Ceiling Medallions,  Leaves Set 1,  Purple Plant and Pumpkins.  I hope you’ll join us this month.  Can’t wait to see what you create.

hello friends!  Debbie with you today sharing my take on the November challenge.  Autumn is my favorite time of year and the mood board this month captured Autumn perfectly with all the textures and sparkle.  I added wood patterned paper for my twist on the challenge.  We had a beautiful Fall so far but we’ve also had a good taste of Winter.  It cut our Fall short but I did head up to the mountains and get a good taste of the changing colors and the beautiful scenery.  For my card I used Cotton, and Jar Set 2.

I hope you’ll play along with the November Challenge!

Hi everyone!  Laura here sharing my inspiration for the November challenge!  I used the colors and the fall theme for my inspiration from this months mood board!
I used the autumn leaves, heart lace border and love title piece
You can see all the details on my blog
With November arriving comes another fabulous challenge.
I decided to take the frosty fall colour scheme from the challenge and base my layout on that.
Creative Embellishments Chipboard Used:
Stitch Border     Distressed Harlequin Pieces      Autumn Sentiments     Simple HingesI covered the “Grateful” fall word using Oil Rubbed Bronze embossing powder. I covered the stitched border using Burnt Copper Leaves. Then I covered the hinges and grunge diamonds first with the Burnt Copper Leaves, and then dusted the edges with Oil Rubber Bronze. Over all these 2 embossing powders gave me the fall metallic look I was looking for.
