Such a fun layout I made at Maggi’s, I actually ran out of projects I brought and decided to make a layout, I usually bring some photos of the kids or of our adventures and thought its been awhile since I made a layout. Maggi said “Here’s some paper if you can do something with it.” Well did I ever.
Here is a short video of the creative process.
The paper was so beautiful I added some simple subtle details on the background with the Distress Crackle stamp along with the distress harlequin stamp. Topping off the texture with the Distress Patterns Stencil and some embossing powder.
Using layers I made a pocket on the page, using some pre-made tags, I wanted something to journal on and slide into the page that could be easily removed. So being at Maggi camp and with the Queen on minis and pockets and flips and folds. The spirit was in the air to go with the flow. I used the Lace Border to separate the different papers.
I changed up the title half way through the creation changing to the small moments boarder, I thought the title would get lost in the composition so I moved it to the edge to help you eyes flow across the page.
This was a fun day with Olivia, we went on a field trip to the ice skating rink. I haven’t had skates on since grade school. It’s just like riding a bike. Then we went to the movie theater for a movie. Yep it’s been years for that one too. But we made many great memories. Me and my little mini Me.
I hope you enjoy and Thank you for stopping by today! Enjoy and be creative.
