Hi there! It’s me, Kathy back to share some scrappy fun!! Today is no exception as my layout is all about 4-legged critters that my little niece Breanna loves and it’s called “Delightful Friends”. She’s at the lake with her new puppy Tori chasing butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, bumblebees and ladybugs on a summer day.
Nicolle just designed a new chipboard that I think is adorable and had to use. It’s the Jar Set of 2 but, it is actually a set of 3. I had such a blast filling these with critters. I also had a paper from Bo Bunny that featured Mason Jars filled with goodies that I fussy cut and intermingled along with the chipboard ones. I used a soft aqua acrylic paint on the bottom of the jar and a silver on the caps.
In one of the jars I put some of CE’s wooden Bumblebees and in another I put one of the Frogs which comes in a package filled with frogs in different angles and positions. I really had a blast painting the different images of those little guys. Here are all the pictures of them.
I also have a frog trying to climb up the rock in Bre’s picture to get out into the top photo!!!
To put the finishing touches on the layout I used the new Palm Leave 2 painted in an acrylic paint with flowers and sweet little ladybugs as accents.
