Welcome back Creative Embellishments friends!
Today I have a slightly edgy layout to share, and I LOVE how it turned out. Here are all of the details.

Here are the Creative Embellishments chipboard pieces that I used:
Dream Word Set         Wings Set 4               Feathers

Here’s what I did to these chipboard pieces. Using my embossing dauber from Stampendous and Ranger Black Embossing Powder, cover the chipboard word “Imagine”. Then taking the wings and feathers I again used the embossing dauber and embossing powders. Start with purple (Ranger: Wendy Vecchi Cactus Flower) adding colour to the base of each feather, and wing. Then using red (Ranger: Wendy Vecchi Carnation Red), slightly overlap the colour onto the purple you added to each piece. Then using yellow (Ranger: Wendy Vecchi Sunflower) cover the rest of each piece, again slightly overlapping onto the last colour. The embossing powder colours mix slightly for a very cool blended effect. Lastly, along one edge of each piece I added black embossing powder, and again they mix and blend.

Once I had the photo matted and in place on my background, I added the wings to either side slightly overlapping onto the photo.

I layered the feathers below the matted photo, and then added the “Imagine” title to the right of the feathers.

For all of the nitty gritty details on how I created my layout, you can pop on over to my blog HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!
