Hello my scrappy friends!!  I’m back again to share a layout today featuring a photo taken by my talented niece who is a professional photographer with her own design studio Ronny & Rene Designs Studio  The photo features my handsome nephew, Andy Dickerson and his gorgeous fiancée Clairissa Patricia.  The photo shoot was done in Sedona, so you know there are some amazing pictures from this trip.

I used the fabulous Prima “Midnight Garden” paper collection.  I just had to fussy cut that gorgeous copper foil piece with all the medallions on it.  I thought it would look good to simulate them dancing through the arches into the garden.  Hard to get pictures though without getting too much glare.

I was lucky to have on hand some Venetian Lace that was very similar to the lace dress that Clair is wearing, so I cut it up to peek through the chipboard.

I really wanted to use lots of flourish chipboards on the page that would work with the design in the paper, and Creative Embellishments has so many GORGEOUS ones to choose from.  I settled on the Vintage Flourish Set 2  This is one of my FAVORITE flourishes.  Since there are 2 in the package, I flipped one over and butted them together to create one long flourish across the page.  I used a copper acrylic paint and then a copper wax for dimension.  When finished, I added lots of Prills (little beads) in “Honey” and “White”.

In the center underneath I tucked in one of the Filigree Corner Set 3 to add a finishing touch.  Topped off the center with little flowers and I  also poked in some little flowers around some other areas.

That’s it for me today.  Hope everyone is staying warm and dry.  We have not been experiencing the extreme weather that my friends in the “lower 48” USA have had.  You all are getting the weather we normally get.  Thoughts are with you that Spring is around the corner…..hope you will stop back for more inspiration, until then, here is a Big Alaska Bear Hug!!!!
