Hello.  Jennifer Snyder here preparing for the upcoming St. Patrick’s festivities.
St Patrick’s Day in my household is very important.  The saying goes, “everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day”.  I’m not Irish, yet I join in the festivities right along with all the other folks because my husband is in an Irish band.
The entire week is filled with music, Irish food and Irish dancing.
I’d like to point out the dancing is done by trained Irish dancers, not by me – so just set those crazy thoughts aside of a “jigging Jennifer”.
Creative Embellishments has some amazing Celtic designs and borders to indulge the Irish and celebrate their rich heritage.  Even if you are not Irish, you can admire and adore the gorgeous intricate designs.
Below is an image of the chipboard and stamp I used:
I also added one of CE’s amazing stamps to pair with some clovers to craft a card for my husband that encompasses his love of music and his Irish band.
Did you know Creative Embellishments has stamps? They have quite an impressive selection actually.  You can see the entire collection of stamps here.

This is a rather simple card, technically speaking, yet I love the amazing imagery from the Creative Embellishments products I used ( the stamp and the chipboard.)
The shamrock chippies were cut from the Creative Embellishments Shamrock Border and gently swiped with dark brown ink.

Stamping technique How to accentuate your stamps
Do you ever think , “why do my stamped images look so dull after they dry?”
Emboss them!
I used dark brown ink and immediately covered the ink with clear embossing powder to heat set.  The clear embossing and heat setting seals the ink and gives a nice smooth sheen to the stamp making it pop a bit.

The Irish Claddagh -Artist Trading Coin

I love the newest set of Artist Trading Coins designed by CE.  The “Lucky Artist Trading Coins” incorporate a beloved Irish design  into a unique ” Irish Claddagh Ring”.  The Claddagh Ring is an Irish symbol of love, friendship and loyalty.
The Claddagh ATC can be used to express friendship all through the year.

I placed it atop another symbol – the Celtic 3 Border (Celtic Knots).
Both chipboard pieces were left natural – unfinished chipboard.
Thanks for stopping.  Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
