Jennifer Snyder here to share some light airy dragonfly cards crafted with Creative Embellishments amazing Flourish Dragonflies.  I paired the chippies with Maja Design papers that accentuate the outdoor butterfly/dragonfly theme.
Checker Border
Here is a look at the chipboard pieces I used.  I kept the treatments simple…painting the chipboard with gold paint

The fabulous paper is from Maja Design, called “Enjoying Outdoors”.    
I kept the treatments simple by painting with gold and rose gold acrylic paints from prima.
I did add some sequins and a bit of thin wire for additional dimension and interest.
The border chipboard was added to the card for texture.  I painted it white to blend in so the dragonfly was the main feature, not the checker border.
