Vintage Thank You Cards By Heather Thompson

Hello all, I would like to share a set of cards I made, These are some thank you cards I made for a transition at work, my transition. I have lessened my time in the Emergency Room, (I will still have some hours here and there) But hopefully when things settle down after this transition and I will be around more. So, without going into details I will just get on to the cards.

I have a few more to make but these one’s fall a bit on the vintage side. I started with some general background work, but like usual I made a short video for you.

I seeing February is the month of Love, I wanted to incorporate how much I love and miss my ER family. Some of which I have worked with for almost 20 years.

I used the Doodle Hearts to add to the cluster using a heat emobossing technique to add some shimmer.

And of course, the Small Sentiments are perfect for cards like these. They have that vintage looking font and they’re the perfect size.

I always make two cards, makes it worth the time and effort to find all the matching elements to go with the cards.

To pull the blues and the butterflies out of the paper, I added the Flourish Butterflies and heat embossed them to help with the over effect I was looking for.

I actually went fairly simple with this set, I haven’t created in awhile and needed to get some things done in a timely manner. So I didn’t go with much mixed media like I normally do, I hope you enjoy! Thanks for your support and understanding.
