Hello friends! Debbie with you today sharing a layout.  I was taking a walk  a couple of days ago and happened upon these beauties peeking over the fence at me.  Sunflowers are such a happy flower and they usually come out in the late summer.  These ones are a little early but they are a welcome surprise!

I found chipboard pieces in the Creative Embellishments store that are the perfect compliment for this layout.  The Sunflower Corner Set, The Sunflower Set and the Sunflower Border . To alter these embellishments I simply gave them a gold base with acrylic paint and then added additional colors to the top.  For the centers of the flowers I added a little texture with some rust paste. When all the paint was dry I rubbed it all with Copper Paste.

I used the sunflower corner set as a bracket for my photo but they can easily be used for the corners or as brackets above and below your photos.

I used the Sunflower Border to add a flourish to the flower cluster.  I did this by cutting the flourishes away  from the center flower, and then tucking them under and around the flowers.  In addition to the flourishes I added the single pieces from the Sunflower set to fill in the cluster.

Thanks for stopping by the Creative Embellishments Blog today!!
