I’m back!!!!!!  Hey there fellow paper peeps!  So excited to share with you a layout of a vintage style, a really hard style for me, as I don’t do it very often.  This layout features my hubby as a baby and his Mom taken in 1944, wasn’t he a cute baby!!!!

There were so many yummy Creative Embellishments chipboards to choose from, I had such fun figuring out which ones to use.  I started by showcasing the sweet photo with the Circle Vine Frame.

First I covered it with gesso, which may have been a mistake because I used a very dark embossing powder to cover the piece.  The white of the gesso wants to peek through in some places.  I did emboss the frame twice just to give good coverage, as you can see below.

Here’s another angle:

I used various flowers from my stash, including the sweet stargazer lilies from Blue Fern Studio and 49th and Market.  Then I added some sweet fussy-cut images that I thought were perfect for a little guy’s page.  Had to add some of those gorgeous flourishes from CE, embossed in gold, around the flower clusters.  I cut apart Flourish #15.

In the right hand bottom flower cluster I added Vintage Flourish 1

I really hope you enjoyed my sharing how I altered CE’s gorgeous chipboards.  Standby for more inspiration from the rest of the talented Design Team.  Have a great week everyone!!!
