Hello everyone! It’s Marilyn here to show you an altered notebook made with a rusty treatment on the chipboard, let’s take a look..
I started covering the notebook with a yellow paper by Bo Bunny. I cut a piece of the Chicken Wire Panel in the same size of the notebook’s cover and painted with brown paste, yellow and orange paints to create the rusty effect.
I painted all the chipboard before adhering them to the notebook in that way I avoid making a mess. Once I had the wire panel ready I adhered to the cover with tacky glue.
I gave the same rusty effect to one of the new Postage Stamps and one of the Door Knobs .
Once I adhered all the chipboard, flower, butterflies I added more textures with art stones, cheesecloth and pearls. Finally, gave paint splatters in copper and white colors. I hope it inspires you to try some rusty effect on your projects. Thank you so much for visiting us today…until next time!!
