Hi! I found this cute wooden purse at my local craft store and immediately thought to alter it using chipboards.
I applied a coat of gesso over all the wooden purse then I covered with lace that I adhered with gel medium. It gave a fantastic texture, then I added more textures with the Falling Stars Stencil and modeling paste.
I cut and adhered a piece of the Diamond Panel to the front of the purse. I took one set of the Moon Fairies and gave a coat of gesso, then adhered it over the Diamond Panel to create layers. Once I created my composition, I applied art stones, pearls, pebbles, flowers and glass beads with gel medium.
I covered with pattern papers the interior of the purse and I gave color with metallic acrylic paints to the exterior .
Finally, I rub some gold wax to highlight all the textures and painted the art stones with metallic white paint. I hope that you find some inspiration. Thanks for stopping by…until next time!!
