Marci Bensing

Hello , this is Marci ->Welcome to the new challenge for March! I instantly thought of this photo my husband took of me the day before Christmas with the flowers he had sent to me for Christmas.  I LOVE roses and loved the large white roses in this arrangement!  Thanks for stopping in today.  Hope you can join us in this month’s challenge!

Creative Embellishments Products Used:  DISTRESSED GRID STENCILLOVE STENCIL:  I used the LOVE stencil with brown chalk ink and then used the distressed grid stencil around it using the same ink.  Small LOVE border wordDECEMBER TAB:  I left both of these natural and applied a coat of glossy accents.  LONG STEM ROSE:  I used Tim Holtz distress paint in white and a Green Sharpie and then added a coat of glossy accents.

Bev Code

Hi Bev here today with a page showcasing my youngest son’s Wedding Day. With twist to use a rose for the challenge I knew this page would be soft, elegant and have some flowers for sure and what better theme than a wedding. I used lots of chipboards for this one. The floral chipboards Rose Set 2 have stickles added to the floral sections for glitter and sparkle.  The Vintage Flourish Set 3 are copic coloured. For the title I clustered some collection accents along with the amazing Feb 14 heart flair button.

WOW!  I was so inspired by the photo for this month’s challenge, that I decided to use it as the focal point on the box that I altered.   Some of my favorite products in the store are the flourishes.   I’ve used two styles on my box, on the top corners underneath the roses, I’ve used the Flourish Page Corner set. On the sides of the box I used Flourish Set 19.  I heat embossed both sets of flourishes with Stampendous  Embossing Enamel, Aged Taupe on the top, and Aged Ivory on the sides.  I hope you’ll join in the challenge this month!

Jennifer Snyder

Jennifer Snyder here with my interpretation of the March challenge board.   I was inspired by the vines in the background and the dreamy peaceful way the lady in the image looks as she smells the flowers.   I created two cards for this challenge.  The top card has Creative Embellishments Flourish Set 10.  I just inked the chipboard with green ink and added glitter glue for accents.

The second card uses Creative Embellishment’s  sweet Mini Frames that have been coated with embossing powder.

As March is a sign that spring is closer, and closer, the new challenge is month, is the roses. I incorporated the roses in the paper selection and what better goes with roses than some Baby’s Breath and some elegant flowers. I used some crackle stamp on the background to incorporate more details from the paper and added a little bit of texture with the fishnet stencil. After I finished up with the texture. I did multiple layers of paper, cloth, flowers, with a  little bit of chicken wire boarder layered with in.

I made a little video of the creative process .

I decided to be inspired to create a page about me….most scrapbookers are behind the camera and we often don’t include ourselves in our projects!  I used one of the newest title pieces using a quote I love! a fabulous flourish (flourish set 8) and very pretty and dripping heart border piece

Hi everyone! I have used the inspiration photo and created a layout for the challenge this month. Olaf is such a poser and loves his selfies hehe. I framed the photo with pieces from the chippy doily and Flourish Set 26. The title piece is from the Selfie Word Set. Have fun playing along and I can not wait to see what you make!!!!!!!!

I love creating romantic and shabby chic projects and this large tag was no exception. I used two roses in the left lower corner of the tag on top of one of these chipboard Banners. I only subtly inked the banner to make it stand out more and added two fussy cut butterflies to it. I also incorporated one of my favourite Doodle Heart Frames on my tag, which I decorated with crystal glitter glue.

We would love to see what you create. For a chance to win a $50.00 gift voucher to the store remember to share below in the comments or on our FB page.
