Good morning everyone. I hope you are ready for a fall colored project.
There are days when I get inspired by simple things, like this beautiful picture of these 2 birds. I just loved the colors and they looked like 2 love birds.
November 18th will be our 21st wedding anniversary and I wanted to give a small piece of art to my husband as a gift. He’s sweet, he likes to have my work in his office. I wanted an image that was not us, but represented a couple, and this was the perfect picture for this project.
My starting point was one of the Huge Tags, I just love to play with them. They are simple and fun to use. I layered it with woodgrain patterned paper
I kept this project simple, I chose to heat emboss all my chipboard pieces in different fall colors.
I enjoy adding splatters of sprays and diluted gesso to my projects. On this one, I also chose to add some bling with a few sequins:
Corner ornament clusters are always fun when you can play with different objects and flower shapes. I had this small round wood piece that is slightly hidden under the bright white flower. Then underneath, the stunning leaves. Together they complete this beautiful fall piece.

I hope you enjoyed my tag, and now I am curious, where do you get your inspiration?
