Hi everyone, France here today to inspire you with our Petaloo and Creative Embellishments cross promo. Our theme is mother’s day. For my project, I chose myself. Being a mother has been the most challenging role that I have taken in my life. On a daily basis, I remind myself that if I believe in myself, if I work to live my dreams and choose to be happy that I will be giving my teenage sons a good role model.

I had fun making this page bright and colorful. I love flowers, as a mom, I often get spoiled by receiving some from my boys or my husband. So playing with all the wonderful colored Petaloo flowers was just wonderful. Here are some of the sets I used:

You might have noticed a few of my chipboards, delicatly included with my flower clusters. This one set has become a recent favorite its the Rose Set 2 chipboard set. It’s just amazing

Lisa here today to share the layout I created for the Creative Embellishments and Petaloo cross promo.

I choose a photo that was taken last year of the kids and I on Mother’s Day. We were in Shopko looking at lawn furniture, sat down and the kids sat by me. Of course, my hubby snapped some photos. Because the photo was a rainbow of colors and my papers were teal and purple, I decided to print the photo in black and white.

These Petaloo flowers are just gorgeous!

I painted the Infinite Rectangle Frame with a coat of Gesso and then added some grey paint. Finally added a few strokes of purple Shimmerz Pearls. I also added the Shimmerz Pearls to the word “Love”.

For my title, “Mother’s day 2016”, I used a few different colors of  mists. For the berry clusters, I used 2 different inks to color them.

That “fairy” flair was the perfect embellishment for this page!
