Welcome to day 2 of the Petaloo and CE blog hop. I hope everyone was inspired with the Mother’s day themed  projects so far.  Today Bev Code and Laetitia Pauchet are sharing what they created.

Bev

Hi Bev here today… we are celebrating with a cross promo Petaloo and Creative Embellishments. What a perfect mix of products to make creating fun and easy…. and so well coordinated. For this page I used fun bright papers to match the great untreated Creative Embellishments Chipboards: Cat Set, Circle Doodle Frames, Amazing, Hearts and fabulous purple Accents: Petaloo Dahlas purple, Petites purple, Mini butter Flies purple.  The photos are of my eldest Grand Daughter and her cat Miles. This is a precious memory page for her.

Hi everyone, Laetitia with you today. I present you my illustration combining the products from these two companies and hope you enjoy our inspiration. It’s very rare that I used the style of flowers on my projects and I admit that I’m not dissatisfied of the result. I created my background by putting directly inks spots diluted with water. I used Film Strip Stencil with the Distress pad to work the background and I stamped in tone on tone with Distressed Chevron Stamp. To add texture, I used  Circle Bokeh Stencil with the acrylic paint. For my title, I cut “lovely” word of the Girl Word Set and I colorized with the acrylic paint. I colorized the Star Doodle Frames in the same way. I stuck Film Strip picture Frame set on my picture. To add volume, I put the beautiful Petaloo flowers “petites pink”. To harmonize all, I made the splatter of India ink at the end of my project.
