Happy Hump Day CE friends!! Nicolle here today sharing a layout I created for our guest spot at CSI Colorstoriesinspiration challenge site. CE is also a sponsor there this month . I always enjoy working their case files. They help take me out of my comfort zone. Lately its not to often that I am able to create very much. I feel a bit stuck in rut mainly because of lack of time so I rush through my projects. :/
Heres how I solved case file 211. I stayed pretty true to the sketch.
Evidence: Stripes,tags,string and chipboard.
Testimony : I was inspired by the word fun. My journaling says:
Every time we go to the fair my kids get their caricatures done. It’s so fun to see what the artists come up with.
My daughter Jolie and son Bret both had their caricatures done this year at the fair. I love how they turned out. Some CE products I used were the crackled brick stencil and some heavy gesso. I altered all the chippies pieces… Square grunge frame, family border word, scribble frame, photo booth border , fun word and create collection with TH distress paints.
