Hello crafty friends, I am back with another Mixed media art doll. Please meet “Odessey”

I had so much fun with this one. I used my fav. stamps from the shop to create the background.

I also used one of the chipboard panels as a stencil with my color sprays.

“Odessey” is my take on time travel, technology, and space.

Her hair controls the technology that allows her to travel through the ages of time.

I used color sprays in shades of blues, greens, yellow, and purple.

First like always I sketched her out and with the spider web chipboard panel I used as a stencil I randomly sprayed my color sprays all over my surface.  I let dry.

Then with the Circuit and Binary stamps I also randomly stamped and sprinkled with gold embossing powder.

My next step was to color in my girl with color pencils and Primas crayons.

I used black acrylic ink to color in her hair and black sharpie markers for more defined areas.

Once everything was dry I used a black color pray and sprayed most of the background leaving just enough color peaking through. I also used white acrylic paint and sharpie for even more contrast

My last step was to add the spider web panel, I tore it not cut it and colored with gold paint which really stands out.

I hope I have inspired you to look at chippies in different ways when creating art with them.

Thank you for stopping by, till next time
